Win 10 AU upgrade

Thread needs solution

Just wondering if you all are having any issues with Schedules running after the Windows 10 August Upgrade.

Clinton, it is probably too soon to know the impact of the Windows 10 AU yet, I have only seen a couple of posts related to that so far.

I personally haven't received the AU yet on my systems so haven't tested if anything has changed for myself.

So far, so good. I have 2 systems working.  I did need to modify my tasks and reselect the source and destination for the OS drive backups on one system though.  I'm guessing it had something to do with the upgrade modifying the hidden paritions, wich may have caused Acronis to no longer consider the "source" drive to be the same disk again.  While I was in there making that change, I jsut went ahead and updated the destination as well to be on the safe side (even though it was the same).

Yes the AU does create a new RE partiton at the end of your drive. I'm actually not still using ATH the UEFI issues just force me to find a working Imaged/Clone solution.

At Macrium the AU totaly screwed the Scheduled back ups. We have found a work around. I posted here looking to see if the issue was with all back up solution or isolated to MR Cheers and thanks for the replies.

Its been a huge issue for all us, even got its on Thread on the 10fourms

Thanks again for the replies.

I installed W10 1607 this week with no issues as of yet.   I only have ATI2015. It ran and created a new backup with no problems.    Have not yet tried a simulated restore but will in the near future.

4 different systems upgraded to Windows AU. Not a single issue with Acronis. I just triggered new backup chains but moving the existing backup chaines to another folder temporarily. ATI2016 complained some older files were missing when I ran the existing task, I clicked ignore, and everything went well.
