xp sp3

Thread needs solution

I am trying to install 2016 on win xp sp3 and I keep getting the message "The acronis true image 2016 web installer has failed" I have the latest download. I have read on here that a previous version might be the answer. I may have missed it but is there a place on here to find a previous build?  I will copy the text of the error message if that helps. Thanks for any help.

Ricky, welcome to these user forums.

Please sign in to your Acronis Account and download the full ATIH 2016 installer file from your downloads section - you will see that there is a toggle switch for swap between Full or Web versions of the installer.
Note: the full installer is 480MB in size - you will also see a checksum value that you can use to validate that it has downloaded correctly.

Ricky, you are running the installer as Administrator and this is a 32-bit XP system?

Ricky, please download and run the Acronis Cleanup Tool from the link in my signature below, then reboot your system and retry the full installer a further time.

If this does not help resolve this issue, then I would suggest opening a support ticket direct with Acronis Support as per the further link in my signature for "How to get Technical Support".

The only other thought is to try doing the install after disconnecting from the internet and disabling your security programs (antivirus, firewall, antimalware etc).
