2017 True Image Startup Recovery no F11 access

Thread needs solution

Starup Recovery I activated it through Window and when I reboot and I see no F11 prompt for it. I have a Samsung Evo SSD drive. I have had the F11 prompt before but not sure if it was under 2017. I have a usb stick to do recoveries if need be but I prefer the startup recovery mode.

Is there anything I can do other then maybe a clean install or what.

Thanks in advanced.

Seth, when other users have had problems with activating the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager (ASRM) for the F11 prompt on boot, the answer has been to create the Acronis bootable Rescue Media (on DVD or USB stick) then boot from that media and activate ASRM from that standalone environment.

Note: If you have an UEFI boot system then you may need to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS settings as ASRM is booting into a Linux recovery environment.
