Acronis 2017 Backup from USB not being saved.
I am using Acronis 2017 from a USB flash drive and I just made a backup image of my Windows 7 Install. That backed up fine no problems.
I upgraded to Windows 10 and got all my settings set up. Then I try and backup and there are no errors using the Linux Version Bootable USB as I always do on this older computer. There was no erros and I set it to shut down after backup. I also tried without it shutting down.
Here is how I do this and have always done it and never had an issue.
Backup MY 256 GB to my Internal 1 TB HDD backsups are in a folder called BACKUPS and each Backup is named the date and the .tib file like today was named.
hpe8300-W10-11.13.21
The one from this morning was done the same way in the folders and the .tib file is named.
hpe8300-5.13.21
I have never had this issue. I tried booting to a PE version but it skipped and went to Windows even when I get the Boot Menu F9 and choose the name of the USB.
I may have the wrong USB for the PE Maybe I have 2 one for UEFI and one for Legacy. I will try to find a PE or make it with Legacy.
And please don't try to say I need new versions. They added that blasted stupid calander and also on newer versions when I try to restore an image all the back ups pop up it does not let me browse for the one I want before all backups pop up. My 2017 works just fine most of the time. I do have 2018 but 2017 is currenty installed.
Thanks for any help.
