Acronis Startup Recovery Manager

Thread needs solution

Having to do with the delay time: Suggestion. Would it be possible to not restore the original configuration file (asrm.xml ?) that holds the delay time. Each time there is an update or change that must/needs/should be applied this file is reset and I have to go back in via the "58403" procedure and change the time to something more reasonable, i.e., 4 seconds instead of 30. Granted it is not difficult, especially after having done it a number of times, but it does cause a bit of aggrivation. Michael

Noticed the Products and System information is old. I have updated my account to reflect Acronis True Image 2017 and Windows 10 Pro. MB

MB, welcome to these user forums.

Please have a read of post: 119326: F11 Startup Timing - 2016 Version where this question has been discussed before and has a response from Slava on behalf of Acronis in update #9.

KB 58403: Acronis True Image: How to change Acronis Startup Recovery Manager delay time and key is the document you referenced in your post for making the changes to asrm.xml, just to clarify for other users of this topic.

Steve, thanks for the input. It is understandable, the response, but the option would still be nice. I'm a hardware techie, yes, not much use any more except just for fun, and most of the sw tech stuff is in my reach but my brain does go in loops with some sw programming. Again, thanks for the reply. Appreciated!! MB
