Acronis True Image 2017 starts up @ every Windows Start-up
Why is Acronis starting up at every start-up ? I have it scheduled to backup every day, but it seems I have to leave my PC on all the time to make this happen.
Is Acronis 2017 also required to be running all the time ? There also two other tasks Acronis Scheduler Service and Acronis TIB Mounter Monitor which are relatively unobtrusive.

Just to be sure, the Acronis GUI is not launching on it's own is it - like the full blown Acronis Window? That is not normal behavior if it is.
However, Acronis does run as a startup application, but minimized and has additional background services associated with it. You can disable the startup behavior in
task manager >>> startup (Windows 10) >>> Acronis True Image 2017 (right click and disable)
but that is only temporary. The next time Acronis is manually launched, it will automatically show up in startup programs again. If it did not run in the background, scheduled backups wouldn't run automatically and you would not be able to double click on .tibs to navigate the contents or use the mount feature of .tibs. Scheduler service and tibmounter service applications rely on the Acronis application to be running in order to work properly as well.

Thanks for the heads up @Bobbo_3C0X and @satwar. I have a slow PC and it's good to know what to remove from start-up.
Have True Image HD version 20.0.0.5212 installed and it is also auto-starting when I boot on Win 10.
Not sure if this is the 2017 version but modified date on the file is 5/2/2017.
Annoying that it is auto-starting as I only want it installed for occasional use.
