Acronis Won't Install - Status Never Changes
I had a problem in Acronis so I wanted to do an uninstall/reinstall. I ran the clean utility, rebooted, and then attempted to reinstall 2017. It simply stays stuck on the status screen, never giving any indication at all that it even starts. It's almost like there's a background prompt somewhere that it's waiting on, but there isn't. I've downloaded the executable several times, just in case that was the problem, and run as administrator, but I simply can't get it installed. Any ideas?

Yes, I did the cleanup, then restarted, then ran the executable as administrator. But it won’t install. I’ve never had this before.

The install log, if one is created should be a good starting point too.

I gave up on it, so I tried Acronis 2019 (I had a license for that) and it worked. No idea why 2017 wouldn't install.

Joel, glad you have been able to install 2019, though a mystery why 2017 failed to install!
