Although activating Startup Recovery manager F11-option does not show up while booting

Although activating Startup Recovery manager on my 10" ASUS-Transformer Windows10 / 64bit Laptop

nothing happens during booting the system.

F11-option does not show up while booting.

It is activated without any errors (because when trying to activate, it there is only the deactivate-option).

Booting is exactly as before activating the Startup Recovery Manager.

How can I access the Startup Recovery Manager Screen?

It may be that it is hidden by the Asus flash screen. Go into the "bios" and check the settings. Not sure what it is called but could be something like 'display post' or 'customise flash screen'.

Have you tried pressing F11 key while the computer is booting - just because you cannot see it does not mean it will fail to work.

You may also need to disable Secure Boot if your ASUS is UEFI and has this enabled as ASRM has always used Linux as the boot OS environment behind the F11 key action.

Thank you for your advices.

I managed to go into bios pressing on and volume key together.

In the bios I had the option to set Acronis Loader as boot manager.

I then had the chance to press F11 directly from/behind the bios... and successfully entered the Acronis-Loader.

Yes I had tried to press F11 before without any reaction.

I cannot use a mouse because I have an USB-Stick with the recovery-data in the USB-slot (there is only one)... the finger pad works completly mirrored... so very difficult to hit the right buttons...but I finally did it.

Bobby, glad you have got F11 working - would recommend getting a USB hub or dock to allow for more than one USB device to be connected, i.e. a mouse plus USB drive etc - they are not normally very expensive but make life a whole lot easier.  I dislike finger pads / track pads etc!
