ATI 2017 Automatic Cleanup Not Working

Thread solved

I have a backup job created that I set the automatic cleanup to remove version chains older than 60 days. (see 1st image below).  I noticed the job was not removing the older version chains so I went back in the job and I saw that automatic cleanup was off (see 2nd image below).  I turned it back on clicked OK, but if I exit ATI and then go back in the cleanup is turned off again.  How do I get it to remember this setting?

Alan, welcome to these public User Forums.

Are you launching ATI 2017 from an Administrator account as required by the application?

Normally, just clicking on the OK button should be all that is needed to save the changes made.

The only other suggestion would be to try doing a Repair Install of ATI 2017 to see if this corrects the issue.  To do this, download the final full version installer from your Acronis account, then install over the top of the existing software (without uninstalling) - this will offer you a choice to Repair or Uninstall.

Yes, I was running ATI from an administrator account.

I think I found a work around by changing the Backup Scheme to Custom with the exact same setting, then saving the scheme.  Now when I go back into the job the Automatic Cleanup is turned on.

The job will run tonight, I will see if it works.
