ATI 2017 NonStop Backup Using Destination from an Old/Deleted Backup Definition
I finally got NonStop backup working to a network drive on June 16th. Due to lack of space, I deleted the old NonStop backup definition and backup files, and created a new NonStop backup pointing to a larger drive. Everything seemed to be going well. However, the older drive filled up on June 18th - TrueImage was writing to both the old and the new drive, even though there was no NonStop backup definition pointing to the old drive. I stopped NonStop backup, cleaned up the old drive again, restarted TrueImage and restarted NonStop backup on June 19th - again, TrueImage wrote to both old and new drive. I prevented TrueImage from filling up the old drive by making the old destination folder read-only.
I downloaded the Log Viewer - I can see activity to the old drive up to 16th when I deleted the original destination. The log entries for June 18th and 19th only show activity to the new drive, yet I watched the old drive being filled up with NonStop files today.
I am running TrueImage 2017 on Windows 10 Home 64-bit. I have not tried rebooting my laptop to see if that gets rid of the old NonStop backup definition.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Norbert
