automatic saving of logs after making an image

Hello
I have the acronis 2017 mounted on a usb, when it finishes making the image it gives me the possibility to see the logs.
As you have the option to turn off the computer after making the image, is there the possibility that I save the log in some folder? I have not found that option.

Thank you

Welcome to these User Forums.

If you are using the Acronis Rescue Media on a USB stick, then you can save the logs for any backup or recovery actions you have performed provided you do so before restarting or shutting down the computer.

To do this, select the Logs option, then click on the entry shown in the right panel.  You can save the log to your USB stick or to a folder on your disk drive.

Hello, thanks for the answer.
My intention is to leave making an image of a pc, to mark the flag of "off after finalizing" and that the equipment is power off alone. But I also keep the logs to make sure that the image has been done correctly.
Is there this possibility?
Or is there a tool that checks an image?

Thank you

If you take the option to "Shutdown on completion" then the logs would be lost as you need to save these manually - this cannot be automated.

You can use the Backup Option to perform an Archive validation for the .tib file when it is created which will confirm that the file has been written to your backup drive correctly.

You can also do a validation of the archive .tib file from Windows Explorer by right-clicking on the file and taking the option for this from the TrueImage menu option shown.

hi,

I have not understood how to validate an image from windows

(You can also do a validation of the archive .tib file from Windows Explorer by right-clicking on the file and taking the option for this from the TrueImage menu option shown.)

regards

You will need to have ATI 2018 (or other recent version) installed in Windows, which will then provide shell integration with Windows Explorer to allow actions via that program.

Right-clicking on an Acronis image .tib file will show a menu option as shown in the image below:

Note: the Mount option will mount a Disk & Partitions backup image to a Windows drive letter and will allow you to explore the contents of the file (read-only), which is another method of checking that the file is good.  The Validate option will create a new checksum value for the .tib file and compare this with the value embedded with the file.

Oh perfect, thank you very much.

I will install ATI18 so I can validate the images I make, I did not know this function.
