Backup Fail/Error/Interrupted ??

Thread needs solution
Hello,

is two weeks that I have a problem with Acronis TrueImage 2017, I can not make backup of my SSD 128gb (Windows 10 Home),
every time I try incremental, differential or full, he always says "The backup is damaged ".

I noticed that the backup works only when the PC is starting up but not during the day.
Windows is fine, sectors are not damaged. It happened suddenly

Someone could help me?
I can not find the log files to attach, where is the folder?

mtech, welcome to these user forums.

Please download the MVP Log Viewer - link in my signature below.  This will help you to check the backup task logs for any messages that will show more about the error you are seeing.

Thanks Steve, the error code seems to be this: 0x101f6 (or 0x70020)?

I searched online but I have not found anything with this specific error, any ideas?

EDIT: Is a Validation error, but not understand why validation dont like the backup, now I try to do a Validation with Rescue Media.

mtech, thanks for the log information, unfortunately it doesn't really tell us anything more than you originally said, that the backup is damaged, but not how, when or why etc?

Have you tried making a new backup task and trying that to see if it will run to a successful completion.

It may also be worth opening a Support Case directly with Acronis Support  for this issue, they may be able to get more information from the error codes shown in the log file from the developers or their second level team.  We have no details for these error codes available to us in the forums.

One other suggestion, for this backup task, click on Options, then go to the Advanced page tab and disable the option for doing a validation after the backup as part of the task actions.

FOR ALL USERS WITH ACRONIS 2015/2016/2017
AND AN INFINITE RESEARCH FOR THAT PROBLEM

Error 0x70020 is related to an Hardware Error, check your RAM or HDD/SSD System.

That's it.

Thanks ATI for Support.

mtech, thanks for the feedback on your findings - hardware errors can be difficult to identify when they can cause strange or intermittent / changing problem symptoms.
