Backup Schedule
Hello,
My Backup Schedule is : "Once a day - 1:00 PM" (Full).
When my PC is not running one day , then the day after ATI 2017 is creating automatically a Full BackUp short after Windows StartUp.
Is there any option to disable this action ? Thank you for your kind assicatance ...

Mfg, welcome to these user forums.
Yes, you can delete your old full backups but if you do so, then you should also run a Validation for the backup task that created those deleted files. This is needed because Acronis tracks the backups in its Database and without doing Validation you will see a lot of error messages. Validation will give you a pop-up message for each deleted file that you should take the Ignore option for. This will help reconcile the Acronis Database information with the files that remain on your backup disk.
The recommended method of managing old backups is to use the 'Automatic cleanup' rules within the task configuration, i.e. to 'Store no more than X recent version chains' where X = the number of Full backups you want to keep (along with any incremental or differential backups for those full backups). Your backup drive would need to have enough free space to hold X+1 full backups, as cleanup only runs after the next Full backup has been created successfully.
Please see the Deutsches Acronis Forum für Privatanwender if you are uncomfortable with using English in the forums, where you can communicate in your native German language.
