Backup status

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to get the status of a backup anywhere else than on the GUI please ?
Like with a command line or maybe this information is stored in a registry key.

My question is for TrueImage (Echo Enterprise Server, 2017, 2016, 2014)

(I've seen the .log files in C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImage\Logs, but the name of the files may be different if the language is different so it is not possible for me to handle all the possibilities).

PS : sorry for my english. I hope this was clear.

Thanks in advance for your replies,

Best regards,

Valentin

Valentin, welcome to these User Forums.

Sorry but I have no knowledge about your Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server as this is now classed as being an obsolete Business Product.

See the Acronis True Image Echo and older versions Forum where you may be able to ask more about this product.

For the Acronis True Image Home 2017, 2016 etc products, then the only method of checking the status of a running backup is within the ATIH GUI for that task, or by checking the backup task logs for completed tasks.

For ATIH 2015, 2016 & 2017 you can use the MVP Log Viewer tool to look at the logs and check status, and for older version 2014 and earlier, the log tool is integrated in the GUI.

There is no command line function or Registry keys that I am aware of.

If a backup is running and the icon is in the Windows notification area, I recall that hovering the mouse over the icon will show the status as a percentage of completion.

The problem is that the status is often not very accurate.
