[Bug/Issue] Acronis TI2017 Build 5554 - Two Samsung 840 EVO drives 250GB Each indicating 784GB of Data to Backup
I'm posting this information for any Acronis Developers to know about a cosmetic bug I notice in the 5554 Build of Acronis TI 2017.
I have two Samsung 840 EVO SSD drives, one for C:, and one for D:, at 250GB total space each. Each drive is about half full. ATI2017 Build 5554 indicates there is 784GB of disk to back up.
I am using "disk" backups of each to a third large-capacity non-SSD drive.
Seems to just be cosmetic, but I thought I'd share the info. I just upgraded to ATI2017 Build 5554 in the past week from ATI2016, which indicated correct amount of data to back up.
Did an "upgrade" install of 2017 over 2016.
Thanks,
Scott

If you go to the backup drive location and right click on the folder where the backups are stored (assuming there is one root folder that may contain all of your backups but possibly with different folders inside of that) - does that add up to about 784Gb? I'm finding that Acronis reports the total size off all the backup files within the backup location that currently exist and not the size of the disks to be backed up.

I have uploaded the screen shots and the system report as requested by Ekaterina Surkova in the first reply post.
And I think Bobbo_3C0X1 in the second reply is correct:

I think that Acronis needs to correct that. The intuitive info for "Disks and partitions" for source and destination screen should be that total data to be backed up on the "Back up now" screen, and not the total of all the previous backups in the destination location.
Good catch, Bobbo_3C0X1

Sarah, thank you for reporting the issue. We are aware of it and are working on getting it resolved in the next update for Acronis True Image 2017.
