Can I back up entire PC to more than one external hard drive?

Thread needs solution

A friend wants to create backups on two external hard drives.  I looked through the Acronis 2019 documentation and did not find a clear explanation of whether this is possible or how to do this.  I’ve made many backups for myself with one external hard drive, but wasn’t sure if making the same, entire PC backup to more than one external hard drive, is possible, or if it would mess up the metadata necessary to keep track of the backups.

Timothy, there is an option in the Advanced Options settings to create a Reserve Copy when making a backup using ATI - such a reserve copy could be on a second external drive provided you can have both such drives connected during the backup process.

Note: the process of creating the reserve copy is sequential, i.e. it will create one image on the first drive first, then after that has completed, it will repeat the process and create the reserve copy on the second drive.

One alternative here is to simply copy the backup .tib file from the first drive to the second one yourself.  Note: turn off Acronis Active Protection when doing such a copy or else it will be blocked by AAP.

Ich möchte darauf hinweisen, das ein "Reserved copy" immer eine Vollversion sein wird.

I would like to point out that a "Reserved copy" will always be a full version.
