Can't register my Acronis True Image?
I just paid $45 for Acronis True Image. Trying to register on the website, I paste my key into the field and then it brings me to a next screen where a circle spins for about 30 seconds then shows me a red rectagle at the top with no error. It doesn't register it. I try to go to support and it constantly complains to me I need to register my product. So, my only support option is community support. If I knew I'd have this much trouble with support, I'd rethink paying my $45.

You don't need to register for support either. Pick CUSTOMER CARE as the support option. Then PRODUCT ACTIVATION ISSUES or SERIAL NUMBER ISSUES

I just went to acronis.com. Under support, there is no link for customer care or anything about product activation issues.

Strange, don't know what's up with the link - got the same error - must have had an extra space at the end, just checked again though, but it works:

Ok, I am getting beyond frustrated with Acronis registration. I followed the instructions with your above link which is exactly what I was doing before following your instructions. I put the key in and then click add and it then takes me to the next window that has the red box that I can't get past. Here's a link so you can see what I see.

I've tried Firefox and IE. Same thing. I can't register my product which means I can't contact support.

Don't log in - just access it as you would if you didn't have an account. 2 drop downs and click on chat and it starts right up - done it a bunch of times and just checked it again.

Ok, this is stupid. So, Acronis' reistration is broke... Here's my chat with Acronis support. They said it's impossible to register so I'm stuck using a Trial version of their product even though I spent $50!

Thinking back, why, if it was broke, did he ask me to log out and delete the online backup folder if he knew all along that registration was broke? If registration was broke, I would've posted the question and before even the first troubleshooting step, he would've said... sorry... no point in trying anything. Registration is broke. But he didn't. I am in IT. One of my first jobs, my team lead told me, make sure I always have a way out of a situation that's going to go too long. Now, I'm a very ethical person and I have feelings and understand the person on the other side of the phone or the other side of the email thread has feelings and is a person too. So, I kind of disregard that advice in my training. But, I catch on when someone is trying to blow me off and doesn't care.
