Can't restore my backup to my HP Laptop

Thread needs solution

I'm using the cloud backup service (30 day trial) and I cannot do a full system restore to my device, an HP laptop. There is no Acronis boot device for me to change the boot order from, so that help wasn't useful.

My device gets to a GUI with a loading bar, then suddenly shifts to a text-based interface saying the 'SYSTEM WILL SHUT DOWN NOW'. It shuts down, then upon the next power-on it boots into windows like nothing happened. How do I do a full system restore?

Mark,

Take a look at the following YouTube video I created recently when doing a Cloud restore.

This was done using Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office when booting from Acronis Rescue Media and a wired network connection is needed.

See KB 69472: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office: how to create bootable media
