Can't set up email notifications - Acronis 2017
I have been trying to set up email notifications for hours. I first tried outlook. I followed the links on this forum, signed into my microsoft account and went under security to generate an app password - but can't find where to do it so I then tried to send it to my gmail account. Went to gmail settings and under security can't find a place to generate an app password.
Have the instructions changed since everyone now requires MFA?
How can I do I set it up to either outlook or gmail?

When you follow the instructions above to generate a password - it gives the error above. It appears this option is no longer available for gmail.
