Cloning very slow

Thread needs solution

Boggy, sorry but too little information to be able to start to give you an answer?

How are you doing the cloning?

How are the source and target drives attached?

What actual version / build of Acronis True Image are you using?

Have you read post: 128231: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this!!! ?

The log file for the cloning operation may yield more information on why it is so slow - the MVP Log Viewer can show these log messages if your are doing this within Windows, otherwise, if your system was rebooted to do the clone, or you are using the recommended method of the Acronis bootable Rescue Media, you will need to look at the Logs within the True Image application before you close it down as the logs are lost after restarting the computer.

Boggy, I am sure that if you follow 128231: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this!!! as per Steve's suggestion, you will have the disk cloning job done, but if for any reason that won't happen, let us investigate the issue and help you - open a support ticket here.

Regards,

Slava
