Cloud backup not ready for business
We have been struggling to get a backup uploaded to the cloud without success. We started a 57 GB backup on Friday afternoon (5:06 PM EDT). The client is using Comcast Business with a 50 Mbps connection. On Monday they had to cancel the backup because Acronis software reported it was going to take another 5 days to finish uploading the backup! Since they use the internet connection for phones as well as data they had to abort the backup. There is no option to mail a base image to Acronis so this solution is useless. After reading many other complaints about large backups failing I have to conclude that this service is not ready for business (or even large data home) use.
I love Acronis for local backups but their process of uploading to their cloud storage leaves much to be desired. We are looking at another solution and we're just going to consider this expense of this software a cost of doing business and move on.
