Cloud storage shown as full in online dashboard but nothing shown under "my folders", backup clean up fails
I'm using Acronis True Image 2017. The online dashboard reports that I'm using 61.4 GB of my 50GB allowance! In an attempt to reduce usage I have attempted to delete the backup but this 1ails with the following error message:
Acronis Cloud
The server is not available at the moment. Please try again later.

This has been the case all day. I have logged off and logged in again, restarted the desktop client and changed the folders selected for backup etc, etc.I managed to release 10GB o1 space initially but the next time I initated a cleanup the space usage went up.
This is driving me up the wall! WHat do I have to do to remove all backups? Or please just remove all my backup data so I can start from scratch.

I agree with Steve; the backup may well be incomplete, thus making it difficult to delete. One possibility is to try to remove old versions (I cannot rember how it works, I think it removes older version as directed.)
Rant Warning!
Not sure what Acronis is trying to achieve with the offer of "free" 50gig cloud storage on basic subscription. Invites unsustainable expectations of what can be done with the allocation. It is not adequate for backing up a PC or Notebook, although it should be more than enough for backing up multiple mobile devices. Of the 5 systems I have backed up to the cloud, only one uses less than 50 gig - and that one is my beta testing rig that was only used over 6 weeks when beta testing ATI 2017. My Dell Notebook is over 60 gig and it does not have all that much on it.
End of Rant

The dashboard is separate from the actual online login as well. I had an issue deleting from the cloud long ago and I resolved it by logging into the cloud portal, not the dashboard. Then, I selected the backup and told it to groom all but 1 day. When done, I deleted from the cloud and then from my app tasks.
50gb is pretty small. A lot of times, you can catch an offer with more initial storage though, I believe it was 250 or 500 when 2017 subscriptions first came out. This is one other area that the NG subscription will appeal to others as it comes with 1tb as the standard... the promos typically are only good for a year so it's good to keep an eye out for them as they usually pop up at least a few times a year.
Definitely submit feedback. I think it would make sense if each single license got perhaps 100gb to start or a shared pool of 300gb total for 3 or 500 for 5. Won't meet all needs, but would be a little more realistic for a base storage plan under a standard subscription and then add more data as needed.
