Confused: I came back to True Image for the 1st time in 8 years!

Thread needs solution

I recently bought a copy of True Image 2017 and cannot seem to figure out (1) how to quickly choose the type of backup for my entire OS drive (C:), and (2) how to add a description to each backup file.

I remember when I used True Image in 2009, it was so easy to figure out how to do the above two simple tasks.....

The manual isn't that bad.

Section 3.2 covers "The difference between file backups and disk/partition images".

3.7 covers "Backup file naming".

Even the Help file covers those questions.

Which bits confuse you?

The 2017 is user-unfriendly rather than confusing.  The version I used in 2009 allowed me to add "a note" to each backup file and to select full vs. incremental backup with one click on the main page.  Maybe I should get a refund.

The "full vs. incremental backup" is now just two clicks > Options > Backup Scheme. Hardly likely to cause RSI.

I've never used "Notes". I find that I can work out what is going on from the name and visible details.
