Does ATI Generate a Data Log for Past Backups

Thread needs solution

Macrium Reflect generates a log file entry for each backup. By clicking on a date in this log, I can see the elapsed time of the backup, the size of the backup file, and associated I/O performance data. This log goes back to when I created my first system image.

Does ATI 17 generate such a log where I can see data for a  backup that was created, say, last November?

Thanks in advance.......

Durago, ATI keeps logs in the C:\ProgramData\Acronis folder structure but you need to use the MVP Log Viewer tool in order to view the logs.  These will go back as far as you have the files for but will only show you what your backup task settings allow, not a detailed list of files etc.

Steve, I don't understand. I do weekly backups of my C: drive using the 'single version scheme'. So at any one time I only have one backup file (the latest one). Are you saying that even with the MVP log viewer tool I can only see data for this one file?

Thanks.

No, the MVP Log Viewer tool will show you all the logs for each of the times your backup tasks have run.  The screen shots below show that I have logs going back to November 2017..

Thanks, Steve. Now I think I understand. So where do I get this MVP Log Viewer? Is it already part of my ATI 17 installation?

You can get the MVP Log Viewer via the Community Tools link (see my signature) or else look at the Useful Links section in the forums for the MVP User Tools... pages.
