e-mail notifications without task name

Thread needs solution

Hello

In True Image 2017 the task notifications sent by e-mail do not contain anymore the task name within the subject line. All mails only do show:
"Backup task completed successfully - Acronis True Image notification from <PC>"

In older versions of TrueImage there was: "DiscH Task completed successfully."

How can I change this back? If I open my mail program I have to open each mail to get the information what task it is for. It was so much better to see it on the subject lines without first having to open the mails!

Dieter, you should be able to check the notifications settings on the main Notifications page for your backup task in the main application GUI.

The default text for the notification is %OPERATION_STATUS% - Acronis True Image notification from %COMPUTER_NAME% - if you click on the (?) icon on the end of the text box, you will see the options that are available to be used, where you can also use %BACKUP_NAME% if you enter this yourself.
See screen shot below.

Hi Steve
Thanks, I first had to click on "Show extended settings" to get that features. Now it works as desired!

Dieter, glad to hear this is working as desired, thanks for giving feedback.
