failed to read the snapshot ERROR
Hi all,
I have worked with Acronis True Image 2015 without any problem on Windows 10/64 OS and decided to update to Acronis 2017 yesterday.
After the successful installation when starting a new image of partition C, I got an error which confused me:
Failed to read data from the disk, ... failed to read the snapshot (0x10C45A) CRC error
I scanned the partition with chkdsk and several disk optimizer - not a problem with the disk partition, uninstalled 2017 and reinstalled 2015 and everything works fine again.
Any idea what's wrong with the new version of Acronis 2017?
TIA, Juergen

Werde mich dann wieder melden,
VG Juergen

Thank you guys, was able to fix my issue with Acronis.
I replaced the hard disk and recovered the partitions with Acronis 2015 - then installed Acronis 2017 and did a successful backup. Everything works properly now.
A special THANK YOU to G. Uphoff for your support - AND next time I'm gonna post an issue in the German section of this forum - for sure :-)
Have a wonderful holiday season
