Getting error code with true Image 2017 when trying to backup to an image
I am Getting an error code with true Image 2017 when trying to backup to an image. I just configured WIndows 10 on an HP Probook 450 G6 laptop. I bootup to acronis true image 2017 and get an error message that Acronis could not find a Hard disk with an event code 0x000101F4+0x000A01FD. I tried the same thing with Acronis 2019. The only difference is that Acronis True image 2019 booted up to the GUI, I selected the option to backup yet the partiton wasnt there. It was just blank. I made sure the drive was decrypted. I tested with Legacy support enabled and Secure boot disabled. Nothing seems to work. I know the drive is there because it boots up to the OS and shows up in Windows disk Manager. Any ideas?

Rocco, welcome to these public User Forums.
Sorry but more information is needed to know how best to help or advise you?
Do you have either ATI 2017 or ATI 2019 installed on Windows 10 on this HP computer?
Have you tried making a backup using the Windows ATI application?
What BIOS mode does your Windows 10 OS use to boot?
Note: run the command msinfo32 and look at the BIOS mode information shown in the output report. This should say either UEFI or Legacy.
See KB 59877: Acronis True Image: how to distinguish between UEFI and Legacy BIOS boot modes of Acronis Bootable Media - when using the Acronis rescue media, this must be booted in the same BIOS mode as used by your Windows 10 OS.
What type of disk drive is installed in the HP computer, is this a SATA drive, or a PCIe card drive, NVMe M.2 drive etc?
What SATA mode is used by the drive, i.e. modern NVMe M.2 drives tend to use RAID for best performance of the drive.
Which type of rescue media are you using, how was this created?
For the rescue media, there are 3 different versions available:
Simple: created based on your Windows Recovery Environment for WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on Windows ADK (or AIK for earlier OS versions) - WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on a small Linux distro OS (BusyBox).
Note: the above applies to ATI 2018 and later versions of rescue media. ATI 2017 and earlier default to creating Linux rescue media unless you install the Windows ADK to create WinPE media.
