How to create/run scheduled backup for a specific Windows user only
Hello,
I want to run and configure my scheduled backup only for a specific windows user.
So I logged in with that Windows user and install ATI 2017.
However, there is no option to install ATI only for the current user.
Instead after the installation I can launch ATI with very other Windows account in my system.
How can I resolve this issue?
Thanks
Bodo

It's not clear what you are trying to do.
With a scheduled backup, there are administrative services running in the background.
Do you only want the scheduled backup to run if the specific user is logged on? If so, you could do a pre-command batch file to determine if that is the case.
Do you want to prevent any other user from being able to run the ATI user interface? While that may not be as easy, I would wonder if you could set the security permissions for the ATI executable such that other users have no permission to execute.
Is there something about what is included in the backup that is user specific? If so, that should not be a problem.

Well what I am actually missing in Acronis True Image Home 2017 setup, is an option that allows me to install the application only for the current, logged in windows user
So my goal is to install the product on the computer just under my own Windows account and then configure scheduled backups tasks.
But the Acronis installation on the same computer should not be accessable for other users, it should be
accessable just for the windows user who did the installation.
What I am expecting is that when the computer is runing the scheduled backups are running silently in the background.
Not sure if that installation is possible.

Bodo, I believe that you need to raise this requirement directly with Acronis to see what they can offer to you in the way of a solution but I suspect that this may not be possible.

I'm still not certain what you want and how that is different from what ATI gives you. As far as I know, most of the ATI functions are services. They aren't related to a specific user. (That's probably not technically true.) Do you perhaps want the ATI administrative functions available to only the installer? I suspect there is a way to do that by playing around with authority specifications, but I have not idea how.
Would you find it acceptable to have the ATI GUI available only to the installer? That you can do by moving the ATI desktop shortcut from the "Public" Desktop folder into your own Desktop folder. At least that's how you can easily do it in Windows. I assume there is a similar (and similarly easy) way to do it on a Mac.
