How to detect a bacground True Image operation

Thread needs solution

I currently use True Image 2017 (also 2016) and Windows 10.
I create a full backup every other week.
Whenever I try to create a backup, it is very often is queued.
I would like to avoid this situation.
How can I figure out whether a background operation is in process?
That would allow me to initiate a backup process when there is no background operation

Jorge, there should be an Acronis icon in the system tray to show progress of any active backup task.

Another utility you could use is the Acronis Scheduler Manager (link in my signature below) and run the schedmgr.exe program as Administrator which will open a command type window.  Type the command get list in that window and it will produce a list of all scheduled tasks in your system.  Each task has a long task identifier embedded in the name which you can compare to the files held in the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts folder - these are XML text files with the same long files names which you can open with notepad to see the actual normal task name near the top of the file.
