7zip is awesome (and free). It reads .zip and 7zip file format and a bunch of others like .wim, .rar. etc. It's all I use these days.

Bummer - sounds like a corrupted download so if you're on a capped plan, yeah, wait. The nice thing about cloud backup restores is that you can do them from any PC so if you know of someone else that has unlimited, better, faster Internet, you can download the files from there instead

I have downloaded my backup again and still cant get it to open. I am wondering sence the backup was from a different hard drive if that has something to do with it?

What exactly is the error you're getting when trying to unzip it. Can you post a screenshot of the error? A .zip is just a .zip file - it's like a .doc or .txt file. 7zip should be able to open it unless there's something corrupting it during the download. Is it password protected - perhaps the password prompt is hiding behind the window somewhere.

Windows said its invalid, 9zip said file is not supperted or damaged, and i tried 7zip and it never does anything. I have downloaded it twice and the same thing both times

Try changing the file extension from .zip to .tib and see if you can open it in File Explorer.

I don't know anything about 9zip, but 7zip has been great for me. What version do you have and where'd you get it? The main site downloads are from http://www.7-zip.org/:
Link Type Windows Size
Download .exe 32-bit x86 1 MB
Download .exe 64-bit x64 1 MB
When you have a .zip or 7zip file, you should be able to right click >>> 7zip >>> open archive. That should open up the .zip file so you can view the contents. Maybe having multiple .zip applications is causing issues for you.
Also, instead of trying to download everything, drill down and pick only a couple of items, download that smaller .zip and see if even that works.

I have got invaild message serveral times - in each case it was caused by the download terminating before the file downlaoded completely. Not saying this is the case here, but from experience it is something that should be considered.

Hello Steven,
you can either use any of the utilities referenced in the earlier comments to extract data from your .zip archive or any version of Acronis True Image that is compatible with old archives (here is the compatibility table https://kb.acronis.com/content/1689)
