KeePass is not able to paste password

Thread needs solution

The Acronis TrueImage 2021 archive password dialog does not receive the auto-typed password from KeePass application.

Is this a known issue? Any suggestions how I can get KeePass to paste the password to the dialog? (not sure, with which version this used to work before)

Technically, what's so special with this password dialog? Because in every other application on my Windows 10 PC I am able to use the auto-type feature of KeePass.

Any help appreciated. Cheers, Leo

Leo, I am not seeing any issues with using KeePass 2.53.1 (64-bit) with ATI 2021 using the option to Copy a stored Password then paste it into the archive password challenge box for one of my encrypted backups.

To test this, I simply clicked on the Recovery tab for the backup which brought up the password challenge box, then clicked on Copy Password for the entry in KeePass, then pasted the same into the password box.

Hello Leo.

I checked the records and I don't see any issues with Keepass being reported.

Please update the Keepass or repair the program ( if it's not updated, of course )

You can also try :

-Manually copy and paste the password: If auto-typing is not working, you can try manually copying the password from KeePass and pasting it into the password dialog in Acronis True Image.

-Use a hotkey to copy the password. You can then use the hotkey to copy the password and paste it into the password dialog.

-Use a different password manager: If neither of the above suggestions work, you can try using a different password manager and check if it works.

Thanks in advance!
