Mobile Backup on Local drive won't delete

Thread needs solution

I backed up my iPad to test the local mobile backup and it worked ok but when going to delete it (using "delete entirely" option) it does not delete the TIBX file from the hard drive.  It removes it from the Acronis List of Backups on the Application.  By simply opening up the app on the ipad again it reappears in Acronis instantly (no QR code required) and it finds the existing non-deleted backup on the drive.

 

I tried to delete it manually on Windows 10 at the OS level but requires ADMIN access so can't delete it that way either.  

 

So a bug it looks like where deleting entirely does not in fact delete anything off the disk.  Any suggestions on how to remove it or will this require a software patch?

I would sugges reporting this as feedback through the app and opening a chat support case with Acronis directly.  I don't use the mobile backup so can't provide much help, but if it is a bug, this is the user forum and not frequented by Acronis technicians or engineers very often.  Submitting feedback sends the detaisl directly to the developers.  Opening a support case, logs the issue with technical support and will help get you direct troubleshooting that's included with your 2017 1 year maintenance.
