Problem installing ATI 2017

Thread needs solution

I've been using ATI 2010 & 2012 for a number of years on several machines.  I decided to standardize so I bought 3 sets of the 3 computer license of ATI 2017, since I have 9 machines I have to do backups on.  I cannot get ATI 2017 to load on 1 of the machines.

I have uninstalled the old version of ATI, shut down the computer, restarted the computer, run the install, and each time I get the following error:

The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem

with this package. The error code is 2902.

I've tried using one of the other installation DVD's and get the same error.  I've been able to install on 3 of the other machines so far without issue.  Thoughts?

James, please see KB 46710: Acronis True Image: Installation Fails in Windows - for common issues.

Assuming that you have registered you ATI 2017 licenses to your Acronis Account, then download the final build version installer from the download page in your account to ensure that you are installing an older build.  Build #8058 was the final build version.
