The program True Image does not make a back-up of the D-disk
Hoi,
My wife uses Acronis True Image 17 on her Windows 10 computer.
Recently we made a back-up of the C- and D-disk.
When checking it seemed that there was no back-up made of the D-disk despite the fact the program made a back-up. In the window, of which I enclose a picture, the D-disk has no information concerning the used GB of the max volume of the disk. Here you can see “none” (the program is in the English-language), despite the other disks showed the necessary information.
In Windows Explorer the C-disk shows all the files, but the content of the D-disk is empty (only the letter “D” is visible).
On our laptop the Acronis True Image 2019 works perfectly.
Apparently, the program True Image has only problems with the D-disk on the computer. Is the problem the disk? I doubt this because the disk works normal.
You find a print screen attached.
Can you help me with this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Frank.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your information.
The C-disk of the PC concerns an SSD of 1 Tb (only 1 partition, partition style: GPT). Of this disk True Image 17 makes a perfect back-up.
Concerning your first question, on the laptop is the program ATI 19 installed. The laptop has its own mobile disks and there is no connection between the build in HDD of the PC. This is only to clarify that ATI 17 varies perhaps from ATI 19.
Concerning your second question, the file system of the HHD D-disk, which is used for Storage Space is NFTS.
As first backup we use a Qnap-Nas in which two Western Digital HDD disks of each 4 Gb are installed and they are linked as mirroring.
As second backup and extra protection we use via USB a mobile HDD Western Digital disk of 4 Gb, which is later on disconnected.
The 3 disks have all only 1 partition, and the partition style is configured as GUID Partition Table.
The backup of the C-disk of the PC to the NAS and the mobile disk is no problem, but the backup of the D-disk of the PC to the NAS as well as to the mobile disk is not working.
I hope that you have enough information herewith.
Frank.

Frank, thanks for confirming the information.
Please see KB 61364: Acronis True Image does not support Storage Spaces - which gives the answer to why you see this issue.
