Question on single file recovery

Thread needs solution

Just as an example, let's say I have a .tib, "Joe's Pizza". I have various folders pertaining to the business. There is a folder named "Charities", which holds information on various charitable contributions made during the year. One important file, "St. Jude Children's hospital", somehow became corrupted, and I can't open it. But I have incremental OR differential versions that were made after this file was edited. Is it possible to only recover this damaged file, without recovering the whole .tib? If so, how would this be done? I don't fully understand how everything works, and I've been reading quite a bit about it, but have not seen an example to address that. Any input to help me understand this would be appreciated.

To restore specific data, you have various options:

- You can boot from the ATI bootable Rescue Media and choose a files/folders restore, selecting the files and folders you wish to restore.

- If ATI is installed, you could mount the backup and copy files/folders from it to the drive.

- If ATI is installed, you could double-click the backup to open it in Windows Explorer, then copy files/folders from it to the drive.

- Within ATI, right-click on the backup you wish to restore from and select "Recover Files".

That gives you four methods, so at least one should suit you. :)
