Walter, welcome to these User Forums.

Where are you looking to see your C: drive in the disk list?

If this is when using the Acronis bootable Rescue Media to boot your computer and you no longer see your C: drive, then you will need to create the alternative Windows PE version of the Rescue Media and also add in the Intel RST drivers to provide support for 'Optane'.

I would recommend creating the MVP Tools WinPE Rescue Media which can add in the Intel RST drivers automatically for you.  See the link for this in my signature below or click on the Useful Links option for MVP User Tools and Tutorials on this forum page.

Correct, Intel Optane is the latest RAID driver and the default boot media will not recognize your drive with that driver installed.

Thanks for confirming Bob, saw your mention of Optane in another user topic and figured it was using RAID.

Quick note on optane systems linked above. HP link, but believe it applies to all optane systems.

The currentcsigned version of  the MVP tool has 14.6 in the custom folder. Optane systems need to get the latest version from Intel (17.x) and add to the custom folder before building with winpe. If this current driver is not installed in the OS already it won't be picked  up in WinRE either.
