Scheduled Backups Fail Immediately. Manual Backups are Fine
Acronis 2017 Build 8058
Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041
I have a scheduled backup to run every day at 7PM that backups up to a separate SATA drive. For the last week it has not been triggering.
I am however able to perform a successful manual backup. The failed backup task creates no logs and does not send me any email notifications. Logs are created for the successful manual backups.
Destination drive is 1TB with ample space available. Not sure how to diagnose from here.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the warm welcome. Been a long-time user of Acronis.
Yes, Acronis Scheduler2 Service is running in both services.msc and Task Manager.
Yes, I am able to perform a manual backup of the same scheduled task. Even did it again, just before I posted this message to be sure.

Thanks for confirming Aaron.
The next action is to use the Acronis Scheduler Manager tool and use this to clear out all existing scheduled task entries, then re-set the schedule for any of your existing backup tasks.
To do this, first download the tool (link in my signature) - no install is needed.
Run the schedmgr.exe which will open a black command window.
Type the command task zap to clear all schedules, then close out the tool window.
Note: the main ATI GUI should be closed when doing this.
Now, re-open the ATI GUI and click on Options for the problem backup task to the Schedule page - this should now show as being not scheduled. Set a new schedule for the task, this could be for perhaps 5 or 10 minutes later on the same day to test if this is now working then altered to your normal schedule if is OK.

Hi Steve,
For some odd reason, after not working after a week and a half, I received an email that it completed successfully at the scheduled time. Verified that it was in on my backup drive.
Not sure what has happened since, but I'm going to bookmark this post in hopes that it happens again, I can pick up on the troubleshooting from here.
