Slow, slow, slow program response
The program is so slow to respond to any instruction including opening the program.
Last time I opened the program it took over 2 hours to open.
Once opened any task selected results in "the program has failed to respond".
Response time is then measured in many minutes to hours - not seconds as one would expect.
What is going on? 2016 version did the same thing but 2017 is worse.

Additionally you should have a look at Windows Task Manager and see if you can determine what processes and services are running in the background that might be using up CPU and Disk cycles.
Are other programs/tasks slow to respond like Acronis on your machine? If yes then something else such as another program is eating up your machine resources which is causing the slowdown.

I have had some of the same issues, but not to this extent. I get "Not Responding" in the title bar frequently. However, if I wait, it does return to normal. I don't know if this is being caused by the GUI, or something else.
