Speed settings

Thread needs solution

I have always used the "high" setting when creating an image and routinely set for the image to be verified when completed.  I would be interested in how other approach this.  Do you think this puts me in jeopardy of losing reliability over time.

As I understand it the speed setting (for a local backup rather than a cloud backup) merely changes the CPU and RAM made available for the backup, and would have no impact on the "quality" of the backup. A quick look ant the manual did not help me work this one out ... but I did not look all that closely.

I always you MAX setting for one-off tasks. For others I tend to use Medium as most of my PC have quad-core CPU with hyperthreading and 16 gig of RAM.

I always use the low setting in all cases.  I have tried the other settings but they tend to not provide any benefit on my systems.
