Starting backup plans fails after updating trial version to Build 8029

Thread needs solution

Error message:
Failed to open the application component. Please reinstall Acronis True Image,.
Failed to initialize the snapshot manager library. (0x100005) $module = "ti_demon_vs_8029"

Haven't tried to reinstall the trial yet. Anyone else knowing this issue with the brand new build 8029 at windows?

RESOLVED: After a 2nd restart everything works fine.

Thanks for updating to show that this problem is resolved.  

I have updated three systems today from build 5554 to the new build 8029 and all are working fine / performing backups etc.

I updated one of my machines with no issues. I even built a new MVP_WINPE usb drive that booted and performed properly.

Excellent - the MVP tool should continue to work for future updates - so long as Acronis keeps the format of the file structure the same in the WinPE components with the subsequent updates.  If not, we can make tweaks as necessary down the road.
