Thread needs solution

Hi , 

I have Acronis 2017 True image.

There  are several back ups to internal hard drives, USB connected HD, and a network drive.

Acronis was working then one day it stated "Stopped By user" 

It does this for all back up drives USB drive, network drives and internal drives.

HOW can I fix this?

Also - I was told to upgrade to 2018 - however a search revealed that 2018 has the same issue.

Mike, welcome to these User Forums.

Please download the MVP Log Viewer from the Community Tools link in my signature and use this to check for what other messages are written to your backup task log file for when you are seeing the 'Stopped by user' message?

It is possible that there are other errors such as insufficient free space, changed drive letter etc at work here.

One cause of this message is that there is insufficient space on the destination drive. So, check it out to see if that is the problem.
