T.I 2017 don't maintine applied setting on 'Backup reverse copy' section

Thread needs solution

Hi,

[see the screenshot] -  I need to create a copy of the backup coping the source files and folders into the default TIB archive format and as well I need a copy of files and folders as they are, no archive, no compression, no cryptography. Only the same file present into pc client document folder for instance copied exactly as they are. True Image has a function to do that but unfortunately is only virtual. When I set 'Copy sources files as is' it accept the new setting, I press 'ok', I close all and after the backup I found into destination folders the TIB archive instead the expected files and folders as they are into client pc. So, I go back to the True Image setting and incredibly the choose into the menu that i modified few mins a go has changed alone into 'TIB files'. I tried many time but the result is always the same. For who answer, don't suggest me a professional version of Acronis because I already done and has been a delusion. Please, Try to fix this function, take money for a product is easy, the difficult in the real live is make a strong sw and patch as soon is possible, you customers need this sw to work not fo game, it is it clear??? Solve the inconsistency please?!!

Good work to fix and patch Your sw even if it will take all night long ;-)

Paolo, welcome to these User Forums.

I have tried testing this option myself and I get the same results as you have reported, plus I cannot find any mention of "Copy source files as is" in the ATIH 2017 User Guide.

I would recommend that you open a Support Case directly with Acronis Support for this issue and let them give an answer as to why this option does not appear to work, or to define what it is meant to do?
