Is True Image 2017 better than True Image 2014?
The title says it all really?
I started out with TI 2012, upgrading to 2013 and 2014 as they were released but then stopped because lots of folk complained that TI 2015 had lost a lot of the functionality that 2014 had (yet cost the same money!)
I am now being urged by Acronis to buy True Image 2017. It seems like a pretty good package but how does it stack up compared to the 2014 version?

Thanks for that Steve. TI2014 is installed on my Windows 10 64 bit system and has been happily running scheduled backups since I upgraded to Win10 when it first came out. I might leave things as they are for now on the grounds that 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' but I'm thinking of upgrading my computer later this year as it's starting to struggle to play the latest games so I will have to upgrade my backup strategy then no doubt.

One thing that you may need to watch out for is when Windows 10 releases the next build upgrade (from April 11th) whether your ATIH 2014 is still considered to be a compatible application, as if not, Windows will simply remove it during the upgrade and you would then need to try to install it again! You will probably need to disable the Program Compatibility Assistant Service which runs by default to enforce the compatibility rules.
