True Image 2017 Drive Cleanser problems

Thread solved

I know that there are some earlier posts about this, but at least two suggest making bootable media, and running cleanser from that media.  The result is the same either way.  Progress bar shows nearly complete at step one of two, with minutes left.  I've left both the Windows and bootable versions go for a couple of days like this.  I finally gave up, and discovered I can only partition and format about 2TB out of the 5TB drive capacity.  Neither Diskpart, or Easus can enlarge the usable partition.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Joseph, if you are being limited to 2TB format size for a 5TB drive then this sounds to be a known limitation for Legacy / MBR systems.  If you computer is capable of UEFI / GPT mode then this may be a reason to consider migrating from Legacy to UEFI.

See webpage: Understanding the 2 TB Limit in Windows Storage

Sorry to take so long to follow up, but life kept me out for the past couple of weeks.  The system is a fourth gen i7, and is definitely capable of large partitions.  There is apparently a serious problem with this tool.  It has unfortunately, left the drive in a state where no tool I have tried can recover the lost 3tb of space.  Not Easus partition manager, not Diskpart, nothing I have tried can access the remaining 3TB.  If you have a suggestions on how this might be done, I would love to know.

Joseph, is this a Legacy / MBR system even though you have an Intel i7 CPU?

Run the msinfo32 command from Windows and look at the BIOS mode setting.

To go above 2TB needs to use GPT as the partition scheme.
