True Image 2017 trying to contact cloud-fes-us2.acronis.com:44445 but I don't have Cloud subscription

Thread needs solution

Subject says it all.  My IT group is pissed off.

All I do with Acronis is backup my laptop to a USB-connected hard drive.  I have no use for the Acronis Cloud product and in my account it says it is "expired".

Chuck, I do not see any similar connections being made on my computer and I do have a Cloud subscription though this statement is for when I have not launched the ATI application.  Once I do launch the ATI application, then I do see some additional comm port activity related to the SyncAgent and Cloud services.

I would recommend looking at the Useful Links panel in the forum, and visiting the link for MVP User Tools and Tutorials where you will find some batch program files that can be used to turn off / on the Acronis Services with a simple file execution.

Alternatively, open the Services.MSC control panel and find and stop all unnecessary Acronis Services that are shown except for the Schedul2 service which is needed for your backup to the USB drive.

If you are still concerned after trying the above, then please open a Support Case with Acronis for this issue.
