Update to 2017 has screwed up my NAS backups
I should be used to it, having used Acronis for the last decade. The latest update has screwed up my NAS access and backups, that were incidentally working fine prior to it. When will Acronis stop using their customers for beta testing.

Hi @ Snakeyes,
What is the operating system and Build information?

Windows 10
Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.222)
I have tried all the solutions to the NAS issues listed in another thread on this forum. No luck.
Prior version of Acronis 2017 was working fine. Fortunately, I can fall back on (actually fall forward) on Macrium Reflect (free) that is working superbly in Windows 10. Check out the negative comments on Acronis versus the positive ones on Macrium on any Windows 10 forum.
Really appreciate your feedback and request, but I am done being a beta tester for Acronis.
Apologies for the rant.

Snakeyes, sorry to hear that the problem couldn't be resolved.
Strangely enough, I was having some issues with the initial build for ATIH 2017 and my NAS connections, caused by a knock-on issue which caused my cable modem to reboot for which I had to configure firewall rules to block ports 1900 & 5553 for outbound UDP from ATIH, but which also knocked out the NAS discovery changes new in 2017.
After I updated to build 5554 of 2017 and removed the firewall rules, all has been good again and my NAS now shows correctly in the NAS section of ATIH whereas with 2016 I had to browse for it via Network and often needed to put in the address (\\192.168...).
I am using a Synology NAS and haven't had any further issues since the latest update. One point with my NAS setup is that I do not map any drive letters in Windows to it - the NAS is only used with a dedicated, non-Windows User / Password as configured on the NAS itself, along with the Synology Cloud sync utilities. This is primarily my attempt at preventing any chance of malware attack on the NAS folders etc.
