upgrade from Acronis True Image 10.0 Personal
Hi, is it possible to upgrade to the newest Acronis True Image 2017 from the Acronis True Image 10.0 Personal. Not sure if Personal version fits the upgrade policy.

There are huge changes since Acronis True Image 10.0...
You might want to do a backup of your current system, then uninstall ATI 10 before trying out 2017. If you don't like, you might be able to stick with your old version, unless you have some upgrade that forces you out of v10 altogether

That was exactly the issue. My old version was still running fine in Win7 however not in Win10 which makes my current backups useless :-(

Thanks Steve for the info, line in the upgrade table Acronis True Image Home 2012 or older sounds promising. Will try to check with sales as you suggested.

Hi @ iří Dobrý ,
Acronis True Image Home 10, if installed in Windows 10, through the Upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, you need to manually uninstall Acronis True Image Home 10, prior to the installation of the New Version. The Product, does not need to be installed for upgrading purposes.
However, you need to keep the Product Serial Number / Key from Acronis True Image 10.0.
Every time you uninstall and reinstall the newest version on any computer, you need to enter the Upgrade Serial Number / Key and the Serial Number / Key, followed by the Product Key / Serial Number from the old version.
If you have more than one old version, you can pick another old Serial Number / Product Key to use.
Does not need to be the same old version Product Key / Serial Number.
Cause I have done it and it works, just fine for Future Reference.
