Upgrade Question

Thread needs solution

The last version of ATI I bought was 2014. Going to upgrade to 2017. Does ATI 2017 also come with a bootable ISO, thats how I do my backups. But I was waiting for NVME/M2 support before upgrading.

Alan,

ATI 2017 comes with an imbedded capability to create bootable rescue media....Linux and WinPE.  Both support NVME/M2 SSDs.

So does that mean no it doesnt come with the ATI ISO Boot disk? So that I can use it on any PC I own to boot into the ATI software repartition or clone a drive what have you?

You can download the bootable .iso from your account and burn it to disc - the option is still there. However, the Acronis Windows GUI application also has a built in rescue media builder so you can

1) Create a .iso there instead

2) burn directly to a CD/DVD instead

3) create a bootable usb flash drive instead
