Version chain scheme: Versions older than six months not deleted
Hi!
Please see attached images.
Why didn't ATI2017 delete the highlighted backup? As far as I can count, this backup is now six months and seven days old, and there are no incremental / differential made on a later date associated with it.

Thanks Steve, and thanks for helping!
For the record I tried to post this in Acronis True Image 2017 Forum twice. Both times it ended up in here even though I was in Acronis True Image 2017 Forum, when I clicked create new topic. I don't know what I did wrong.
I know. AFAIU backup scheme "Version chain scheme" comes with automatic cleanup and other options preconfigured. See larger image of the backup scheme tab in the options attached here.
As far as I have been able to figure out on my own, the 1st full backup version will be kept until you delete it manually, when one uses backup scheme "Version chain scheme", and one can't change that behaviour unless one selects another backup scheme altogether.

Magnus, the issue with forum topics going astray to the wrong forum is known and has been reported to the Acronis web team, so hopefully will be fixed soon!
Sorry that I didn't pick up on your using the Version Chain Scheme with the set of default settings & cleanup rules. That is something I have never used as prefer to use a Custom scheme where I can have full control over all the options being used, and in particular those for automatic cleanup, where my preference is to use 'Store no more than X recent version chains', which avoids all the mystery of working out the age of old chains. I also never select to keep the first backup for any of my backup tasks as this would be well outdated in reality.
