It should be possible to clone your dual-boot OS source SSD drive to a new external drive but there are some considerations to understand here.
Acronis will probably use Sector-by-Sector mode when cloning any Linux EXT2/3/4 & SWAP partitions on the source drive, so will not perform any automatic resizing of such partitions as would be expected when cloning only Windows partitions. This should not be an issue given that you are cloning to a much larger drive.
I would strongly recommend making a full Disk & Partitions backup of your 256GB SSD drive to another external drive before starting on any clone operation - this is your safety net in the event of any issues arising.
I have done something similar in the past with an older version of ATI where I cloned my own dual-boot drive with Windows 10 and Ubuntu to a new larger drive and all was fine after substituting the new drive for the original one.
Note: if you are using other partition formats with your Linux Manjaro such as LVM then you may want to consider using a clone tool that has better support for all Linux partition types, i.e. such as Clonezilla.
Thank you very much. I don't actually use lvn, just standard ext file system for Linux Mankato.
